Dear members,
would you happen to know a reliable source for Hardy becoming the honorary
president of the RSPCA? I am quite sure that he was at some point, but I can't
find any source.
Many thanks in advance.
Martin.

Dear Martin,
Maybe someone will prove me wrong but to the best of my knowledge Hardy was not an honorary president of the R.S.P.C.A.
He did, however, write a celebratory ode, "Compassion," to mark the centenary of the R.S.P.C.A. in June 1924.
With every good wish,
Rosemarie Morgan
