     This seems like a good moment to remind subscribers to Hardy-L that the Collection welcomes donations of *any* Hardy-related book published between (approximately) 1890 and 1975, even if the master-list (http://www.yale.edu/hardysoc/Welcome/COLLECTION.htm) doesn't include it or indicates that we already own a copy of the book in question. Your contribution might be a book we don't know about, a slightly different edition, or a better copy than the one already in the Collection. So, if it meets the general guidelines of the Collection, please send it along if you're willing to part with it. In its perfect consummation, the Collection will have every edition of every book (in all languages) about Hardy published between 1890 and 1975.

you'll see that we now have a good deal "in the red" -- about 65 titles in all. What a great feat -- and we only started this project in April of this year. Wouldn't it be marvelous if we could get it all "in the red" by April 2004?

 

Dale-- I know you're listening-- please accept the profound thanks of all those working on and supporting this project and, in anticipation, the appreciation of generations to come who'll be able to hop on the bus at Chicago airport and spend a delightful day (or more) exploring this splendid Collection at Milner.
