I am a great fan of Thomas Hardy. I am happy to find such a nice group. Is it possible to see the member list of this group ? regards , ========== Date: Sat, 14 Sep 2002 19:48:08 -0400 From: Rosemarie Morgan Subject: Re: list of members list Status: Greetings and Welcome on board, Hakan! I would I have to run this by the TTHA Board of Directors first in case there are privacy laws to be observed. Possibly the best thing to do for now is to use TTHA Forum as a medium for asking individuals to contact you privately (maybe make another posting with some details about what/whom you are seeking and who you are?). The Forum is free to all and has approx 600 subscribers (numbers vary) but paid-up members (those who receive the annual *Hardy Review,* the Poetry CDRom and have access to the Members' Only page) are a separate entity and I would have to consult my colleagues on the question of releasing their names. Thank you for your interest -- and DO tell us something about your Hardy interests? With every good wish, Rosemarie ========== Date: Sat, 14 Sep 2002 16:52:33 -0700 From: Betty Cortus Subject: Re: list of members Dear New Subscriber, Welcome to the Hardy Forum. You do not state your name, but as a fan of TH you have certainly joined the right group! However, in order to protect other members' privacy I am unable to make the list available. We have a number of members who contribute to the discussions regularly, and I am sure you will quickly come to know who they are. Others prefer to lurk in the background, and simply enjoy the discussions of the more vocal members. That is their perogative. I am sure we would all be interested to hear how you came to discover Hardy, and which of his works you have particularly enjoyed. Betty Cortus hardycor@owl.csusm.edu ==========
