Subject: Scarlet Tunic

What is the consensus on the Scarlet Tunic (the film based on "The Melancholy
Hussar")?  Students my Hardy class generally disliked that story, though they
liked most of the other short fiction.  I haven't seen the film, and I was
wondering whether it would be a good complement to that section of the course next
time around.  I don't think it's available in any local video store, so I'd have
to buy a copy.
