HARDY FORUM ARCHIVE H01056 6/23/01 "APPEAL FOR LINGUISTIC HELP" ================================================================= From: SBWright@aol.com Date: Sat, 23 Jun 2001 11:13:23 EDT Subject: Linguistic appeal Dear List Members, I am working on a reference work, Thomas Hardy A to Z, scheduled for publication in 2002. I am compiling an appendix on translations of his works, and would be extremely grateful for assistance from any subscribers fluent in Chinese, Korean, Czech, Japanese, or Persian. I have obtained the titles of translations in various languages from online data bases (OCLC, First Search), but am uncertain about the correct accents, titles, and proper order of translators' names, especially in these languages, as there seem to be variants. With much appreciation, Sarah Bird Wright Sarah Bird Wright 3505 Old Gun Rd.
