HARDY FORUM ARCHIVE H01023 2/27/01 "AMERICAN POEM ON TITANIC QUESTION" ============================================================= From: Martin Ray Subject: Re: Convergence of the Twain Date: Tue, 27 Feb 2001 09:33:04 +0000 (GMT) Good morning everybody. I've just been reading a contemporary review of *Satires of Circumstance* which remarks that 'The Convergence of the Twain' expresses 'the same idea which inspired a poem on similar lines written many years ago by an American author'. Does anyone recognise this American poem, please?
